With Dr. Ron Wells of Centrepoint Ministry
Tuesday, April 20, 2012
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Often pastors feel the pressures of shepherding their flock of church members and staff. The shepherd devotedly tends this flock, but who tends to the shepherd? What can be done to help the struggling shepherd grow through difficulties without stumbling or forsaking his or her ministry.
Ron Wells, founder of Centrepoint Ministry, will speak from his heart about how to deal with the specter of pastoral burnout. While serving in various ministerial positions and traveling world-wide, he and his wife Beth, an RN, became concerned about the continuing breakdown of Christian marriages and families. Sadly, pastors are not immune to these struggles. Out of these concerns, Centrepoint Ministry was established to minister to families and couples.
Ron Wells holds a DMin from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where his focus was upon “Developing a Model to Mentor Men to be Spiritual Leaders in Their Families.”
