On May 11, 2024, we hosted a Greeter Training Seminar focused on equipping church greeters with the tools and knowledge needed to create a warm and welcoming environment for all who enter. The seminar covered essential topics such as effective communication, the importance of first impressions, and how to handle various situations with grace and kindness. If your church is interested in using this curriculum, we would be happy to share it with you. Please reach out to us at info@theshepherdsheart.org or through our Contact Us page.
The Spirit of David Award recognized five high school seniors who exemplify exceptional leadership and service.Â
The next award ceremony is scheduled for this fall.
This event is designed to bring together women in ministry from all backgrounds and denominations for a time of fellowship, encouragement, and inspiration. Prepare to be uplifted and encouraged as we welcome keynote speakers who will share their personal journeys and insights on how to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of ministry as a woman.
“Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.”
“ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.“
With Dr. Gary Brandenburg
On October 19, 2021 at Grace Community Church, Dr. Gary Brandenburg encouraged those in attendance regarding the vision of the church. With stories and teachings that brought both laughter and tears, he spoke in such a way that made his teaching both easy to understand and remember.
Often Pastors feel the pressures of Shepherding their flock. The Shepherd devotedly tends to his flock, but who tends to the Shepherd? What can be done to help the struggling Shepherd grow through difficulties without stumbling or forsaking his or her ministry?
Dr. Ron Wells spoke regarding this, giving much needed encouragement and advice to those in attendance.Â
Our Bricks & Mortar event seeks to bring together our community for a time of worship, fellowship, encouragement and communion.
July 10, 2021 will go down as a banner day for Shepherd’s Heart Ministry and Encouragement Group (KVNE and FuziĂłn Radio) as Pastor’s gathered from throughout East Texas for this wonderful event!
Shepherdâs Heart Ministry teamed up with several East Texas law enforcement agencies, including sheriffâs offices in Gregg and Upshur counties, to give out 10,000 blankets to people in need.
Through the program, police officers distributed the blankets to those that they met in the field, such as families without heating in their homes or people seeking help from homeless shelters.
